Ashland was a fun town to visit. It is known around the world for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We attended a show there, as well as at the nearby Oregon Cabaret Theater.
Lithia Park is a gem on the edge of town and we enjoyed a stroll through the beautiful park. We also got to taste the famous Ashland lithia water, thought to have healing powers!
Crater Lake National Park is an easy drive. We didn’t actually get there–you’ll need to listed to the podcast to find out why!
Ashland was the beginning to a fabulous trip up the coast, including whale watching, and then up to Portland and the Columbia River Gorge with additional stops along the way and the way home. These will be in subsequent podcasts.
We previously wrote about our trip to Ashland. Be sure to check out that article to see more from our trip.
